The idea behind the teaser trailer, entitled Derailed, is to make the audience question what is happening on screen, and then make them want to see the film to find out what is actually happening.
The trailer will mix shots of filmed luggage, with items of personal belongings strewn on the floor, near the entrance to villiers park with shots of a blank screen which will create tension and add confusion to the overall atmosphere.
The first shot will be looking at the black bag on the pathway, which will gradually get closer and the camera is zoomed in. The pathway that is behind the bag is very dark, helping to create the sinister feel that something is about to happen, it is just unsure as to what. Then the camera cuts to a close up of the bag, from where it will tilt upwards to see all the other items across the path. these shots will be sliced by blank screens, to add confusion. The final scene is the ticket floating to land next to a phone, from which you can hear someone cry ''hello''. when the ticket lands, the camera zooms in, to see that there is blood splatters across the ticket, with the location of foxton.
